Muggsy Bogues!

Tyrone Muggsy Bogues is the shortest NBA player to ever be in the game, but he has a big heart. He is 5'3 and he may be short, but he's really fast and helps his team win their games. Muggsy has so much determination and courage. If he sets his mind to do something, he can do it. People may think that just because he's short, he won't be able to do many things in basketball, but they're wrong. Since Muggsy has such a big heart, he can do anything because it doesn't matter what size you are, just how big your heart is.(:

Freedom : )

     Freedom can mean many different things. Freedom means being able to do what ever you feel like doing. Freedom of speech means you can say whatever you want. You are also permitted to complain and make opinions on anything. People can express themselves in any way they want to. Freedom of religion means that you can pick what religion to believe in, and you don’t have to believe in what everyone else believes in. Freedom is very important in so many ways.

      

     In economic freedom, people have the right to spend all their earnings and money on anything they desire. No one can tell them what to spend it on because it isn’t their money. Freedom of the press can mean that any media or newspaper, can publish anything they want because they have the freedom to do so.  You can also have freedom in dressing any way you want, because your style is YOUR style which means no one can tell you how to dress. People should have the right to earn freedom because everyone should have it.

    Whenever someone wants to go out with their friends and their parents don’t let them, that means that their parents are not giving them freedom and letting them have fun for a while. Many parents can be strict about freedom, but that’s just because they actually care about you. Freedom may not happen right away, but it will come in one point of your life. That’s why you have to be patient, and freedom will come to you.

Anchor Blue Closing All Stores ?

After being open for 30 years, Anchor Blue,which began in 1972, is calling it quits. This store sells casual apparel and many different types of accesories for teens and young adults. Well, it is confirmed that Anchor Blue is going out of business. ): There is at least 117 stores of Anchor Blue and all of them are closing down. All of these stores are having many sales until all the merchandise is gone and they will allow Anchor Blue gift cards until January 21. There may be some stores still open, but many have gone out of business already. Some, are having clothes up to 70% off..incredible. What I want to know is, why is Anchor Blue closing down?

Before, I always used to shop at Anchor Blue because I liked their clothes and their accesories were so cute(: After a while, I stopped shopping there because I liked Forever 21 more. I think that's part of the reason why Anchor Blue is quitting, because since Forever 21 is so popular, Anchor Blue is losing many customers. Well, I'm going to miss Anchor Blue, but it was good while it lasted :)

Nicki Minaj: best female rapper. :)

Nicki Minaj's real name is Onika Manaj. She is a rapper/singer. She was signed to Lil Wayne's rap group "Young Money" in 2009. After she signed with Young Money, she started working on her album titled "Pink Friday" which earned its number two spot on the US Billboard 2010. One month after she released Pink Friday, it went platinum in the United States. Nicki also made a lipstick called Pink Friday which they sell at MAC. She's now collaberating with many artists and they have all reached number one spot on a show called 106 & Park.

Nicki has many alter egos. The first alter ego that she created was Cookie, which she made to get away from all her problems by imagining she was a new person. Her next alter ego was Harajuku Barbie which stayed with her for a while. For her album, she created yet another alter ego, Roman Zolanski. In "Bottoms Up", Nicki claims that Roman is rapping in that song. Martha is another alter ego, which is Roman's mother. I think Nicki Minaj is creative in many ways, and that's what I like about her. She's my favorite rapper, and I love her music.(:

Popular Dances: Dougie & Catdaddy (:

It all started when Cali Swag District released a song named "Teach me How to Dougie". Dougie-ing got so popular after that, and it's still popular at this moment. I really liked the dance, so I started watching videos to learn and now everywhere I go, I start doing the dougie randomly. In my opinion, the best person that can dougie is Chris Brown because he adds so much energy and movements when he does his dougie. Many jerking crews like "The Rangers" and "Marvel Inc" post videos of them doing the dougie which proves that dougie-ing is popular all over California.

Another popular dance right now is the catdaddy. People do this dance while they do their dougie. The catdaddy was made by "The Rej3ctz" and as soon as they made their video for that dance, everyone started doing the catdaddy. So many dances are being made right now that involve the dougie since it's so popular.  These dances are so popular that people are starting to make shirts that say "And Then I Hit My Dougie" and for people that are so advanced in doing the dougie (like me :p) are competing in a place called the Backhouse Party where they can claim their titles for Dougie Queen and Dougie King.

Fashion & Style

When the word fashion comes to mind, I think about colorful clothes and shopping. Style is our way of expressing how we want to dress. One of my favorite stores is FOREVER 21. If i went to the mall, the first store i would look for would be Forever 21. I could be in there looking for clothes for the whole day and never get bored or tired. The thing I like about that store is that it's cheap and they have the most prettiest clothes(:

Fashion trends change really quickly. When there's a popular trend, everyone sticks to it until a new one comes along. What I love about fashion is that you can dress however you want, because it's your style.

DANCE!

What's the first thing you think of when you hear the word dance? People express themselves by dancing and showing their many different moves to the world. Like Chris Brown said. "Music was made to dance."  When people dance in groups, they feed off of each other's energy which makes the dance inspiring and energetic. I think dancing is always going to influence the youth, because the youth is part of creating new trends and dances. Dancing keeps you young and inspired. If you want to become a really good dancer, all you have to do is practice, practice, and practice. Remember that practice makes perfect.
